James + Alex | Springtime Engagement at Deer Creek

This romantic Deer Creek State Park engagement session was full of laughter, adventure, and perfectly timed wind-blown hair. Alex and James were so sweet and although we were pulling ticks off us left and right, they didn't complain once!

I loved getting to know them and seeing how down-to-earth they both are, not to mention how easy they made it to get dreamy photos! Alex's humble, fierce, and thoughtful personality compliments James' goofy, playful, and caring personality so incredibly well. They have a sweet friend who told me just how perfect they are together, treasuring each other unconditionally and always fighting to put God first.

Their connection was so evident throughout their session, I loved getting to witness and capture their love story in action. And since we were blessed with the most beautiful, warm day for their session, of course we had to get some carefree barefoot shots too!

Thank you both for inviting me to be part of your special day, I cannot wait for your August wedding at the Cincinnati Nature Center! Fingers crossed for fewer ticks, but more bare feet weather ;)
